Challenge

Vorto is an artificial intelligence platform for automated logistics and supply chain management. As a startup in a phase of hypergrowth, they faced the challenge of scaling up their team fast enough to keep up with customer demand. Recognizing the risk that the wrong hire would pose to their momentum, they tapped the Guerrilla Product Group to expand their engineering bandwidth so they could focus on organic expansion without trading off development velocity.

Process

Our full-stack engineers joined the Vorto team as embedded resources who contributed to the development of the core platform. We also took the lead on several blue ocean projects, such as a B2B marketplace scaled to serve Fortune 100 customers.

Results

With a deep understanding of the systems in place, we were able to utilize and expand the core platform APIs to facilitate demand-driven development cycles and deliver client-facing projects with minimal oversight from internal resources.
